GET IN THE POT began with a metal cooking pot. Playing in cooking pots on the kitchen floor was an early memory of the choreographer and shaped my understanding of space and play. This piece explores memory of childhood, relationship of body to object, and the intimacy of female friendships. The form of the duet acts as the container for these ideas and experimentations.
